About us
When you are searching for themed hotel rooms among route 66 motels, El Trovatore Motel, is one of the few pre-World War II Kingman Arizona motels that are still standing. When taking a trip on Route 66, motels are among the attractions people want to experience. This historic route 66 motel started in 1937 as a service station, with the tourist court added later in 1939, and was first owned by John F. Miller. This motel with hollywood themed rooms is located on El Trovatore Hill, in Kingman, Arizona, a location on a stony bluff that awards stunning vistas of the Hualapai Mountains and the awe inspiring landscapes that embrace it. The El Trovatore, recently refurbished, easily accommodates groups of fifty or more including Route 66 tour groups. Ample parking space for tour buses is available for people making a route 66 trip and looking to stay overnight in Kingman Arizona motels.

True Rte 66 charm! The owners are great people, and felt like family when I checked in. Rooms are old, but very clean. My kids loved the murals, and the themed rooms. Turned a western on tv, and they were loving it! Would stay again.
Understand, I'm giving this five stars for what it is - a vintage Route 66 motel with great charm, not for being the Ritz. Owner is amazing. I made a mistake in my booking, he corrected it with zero fuss. I'm pretty sure he stayed up just to check us in as the last customers of the evening.
It's a small motel with average size rooms. Probably the oldest hotel I've ever stayed at without major updates. With that being said it's one of the coolest, they've managed to keep the old "feel". The owner was super nice with all the information a person could ask for. He loves this motel and the town of Kingsman.
This place is amazing! The owners are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and it is obvious they take great pride in keeping this historic motel going. The rooms are unique, quiet, and cozy. I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in Kingman and I'm excited to come back!
Cool motel! Lots of history. Owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the towns history and great fun to talk to. Clean room. A/C was on and tv on with classic black and white movie playing when we got into our room. Really fun place to stay. We ate at the Mr. D's dinner just down the street.!!!
This is a true Route 66 motel. The rooms are themed, the outside is well decorated, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Samuel, the owner will give you a map of the area and a great history of Kingman and its landmarks. If you're traveling R66, this is a great place to stay.
